Red raspberry leaf is believed to help with PCOS in several ways, based on its traditional use in women's health. It may contribute to hormonal balance, potentially helping to regulate estrogen levels, which can be beneficial for women with PCOS. Its vitamin B6 content can bind to steroid hormones, aiding regulation. Red raspberry leaf tea may also support more regular menstrual cycles by promoting a healthier uterus. It is known as a uterine tonic that can help tone and strengthen uterine muscles; the alkaloid fragarine may help tighten pelvic muscles and ease menstrual cramps.
