Known as nature's ibuprofen, Feverfew (Tanacetum parthenium) migraine prevention and relief, reduce inflammation from conditions like arthritis, and have benefits for skin health, including dermatitis. It is also traditionally used for a variety of other issues, such as alleviating nausea and aiding digestion.
Feverfew may increase the risk of bleeding, especially if you take blood-thinning medications, such as warfarin (Coumadin), clopidogrel (Plavix), or aspirin. Ask your doctor before taking feverfew if you take blood thinners. Pregnant and nursing women, as well as children under 2 should not take feverfew.
Dosage: Take 30-50 drops in a small amount of water or juice, 2-4 times daily between meals.
